Knitting Club
Come to the library with your knitting needles (or crochet hooks!) and a skein of yarn to learn the basics of knitting or share your expertise with others. All ages welcome, under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in on our knitting club on Monday evenings, where you can share ideas, relax with friends, meet new people. New members always welcome! Young Adults will meet in the Story time Room.
A yarn exchange is being planned for mid-March...more info to follow!

Daddy Daughter Dance
Each year the Indian Princess; Kachina Tribe hosts a Daddy Daughter Dance. This years event is February 10, 2012 from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm at The Riverside Golf Club, 2520 DesPlaines Avenue, Riverside. Tickets are on sale between 10 am and 6 pm, Tuesday to Saturday at Salon D'Amore; 52 East Burlington road, Riverside
Activities include; Dinner, Dancing, corsages for the girls, boutonnieres for the dads and a professional photograph to remember the evening. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the YMCA Indian Princess activities as well as local organizations.
